Jolie Snavely
Jolie Snavely has been playing guitar and violin for several years and grew up in a musical family in Springfield, Virginia. She recently graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Media Arts and Design and a minor in Music Industry. During her last year in school she started taking jazz guitar lessons and jazz improvisation classes, and is continuing to take lessons. Jolie began playing violin at age 9 and picked up guitar at 12. She played in orchestras all throughout high school, sang in a choir, and began to write her own songs. Recently, she has played guitar and sang in cover bands, performed original songs, played in jazz jams, and is currently playing bass in a local band.
This past summer, Jolie joined Potomac Music as a counselor for the Rock Band and Ukulele camps, where she helped to lead groups and taught ukulele to beginners. Aside from teaching, she is also working as a Social Media Specialist for a local business. She is so excited to work with new students and help others grow as musicians!
