Lauren Baker

Lauren is a local DMV vocalist, actress, stage director, and voice teacher. Lauren is a graduate from Shenandoah University majoring in Voice and Psychology with a minor in piano. Lauren also received her masters degree from Shenandoah  in Music therapy. Lauren has experience with teaching various vocal style genres. Lauren specializes in genres such as pop, gospel, musical theater, and contemporary music. Lauren focuses on vocal health, self confidence, musical interpretation, and pitch accuracy. Lauren encourages her students to bring their unique self to learning music. Outside the lesson room you can find Lauren performing throughout the DMV area or involved in theater productions. Lauren is excited to help students grow, develop, and inspire their musical journey here at Potomac Music.
