Megan Guch
My dedication to music education and youth development has been a lifelong passion, sparked by early exposure to the harp through a neighbor and later nurtured through participation in my elementary school's 5th-grade strings program. Despite initial obstacles, I persevered and continued to play the viola, ultimately joining a youth orchestra, attending music festivals, and auditioning for music schools. My formal training in Viola Performance and Harp Performance at Vanderbilt University provided a strong foundation for my subsequent work as a musician and educator. In 2006, I shifted my focus to string education, inheriting a sizable home-based violin and viola studio. Since then, I have found tremendous fulfillment in helping young people discover their love of music and achieve their goals. When not teaching, I enjoy gardening, spending time with my family, my cats, and watching Indian blockbuster movies.
