Potomac Music Summer Camps provide an incredible opportunity for kids to explore their creativity and develop their musical talents. Kids will have a blast as they learn to express themselves through music and make new friends while having fun.

Before and After Camp Care Now Available
We now offer care 1 hour before and after the start and end of all non-Kindermusik camps to accommodate busy schedules! For camps with hours 10AM-2PM, care is available beginning at 9AM and extending until 3PM. For 9AM-3PM camps, care is available beginning at 8AM and extending until 4PM.
Add-on care is $100 for the entire week and provides for 1 hour before and after each camp day.

Kindermusik Camp
Looking for summer camp for your preschooler or Kindergartener? Try our Kindermusik half-day camps at Potomac Music in Lorton Station Town Center. We use the power of music as we take summer road trips, explore the beach, and meet new friends. Join us to embark on music & movement activity sequences that are engaging, research-based, child-centered, developmentally appropriate, and creatively designed to set the stage for optimal multi-sensory learning.

Piano Express Camp
Our Piano Express Summer Camps will deliver impressive results for your child across many essential areas of musical fluency. Students come out of camp a stronger listener, reader, collaborator, and all around pianist plus have renewed enthusiasm for their one-on-one or group piano lessons. Camps use the award-winning Piano Express curriculum - a gamified approach that makes learning fun!

Rock Band Camp
Here’s your chance to be a rockstar! Your rising rocker will be inspired in our Rock Band Camp this summer. Our fun-filled camp will allow your child to jam out to their favorite songs, play in a group setting, create their own songs, and have a blast – all while developing their ensemble skills, core technique building, rhythmic and melodic dictation skills, and more!

Application:
Please submit a short video that best demonstrates your child's playing ability. This helps us place your child in an appropriate group. Video should show your child's face and hands. Performance can include a song or technical demonstration of the following:
Guitar: chords, scales, melodic lines from learned songs.
Drums: basic drum rudiments, rock beats, etc.
Vocals: a cappella song of choice.
Keyboard: chords, scales, melodic lines from learned songs.
Bass: scales, chords arpeggios.

Musical Theatre Camp
Campers take the stage in this immersive theatre camp! Each day, students will participate in solo acting, group acting, scene perparation, music theory, and rehearsal. Students will have time each day for private instruction. Camp will conclude with a full performance on the final day. Campers will also enjoy a pizza party on Friday!
1 Hour Before and After Care is available from 8AM - 4PM.
Musical Theatre Camp
Camerata Full Orchestra Camp
Experience a camp like no other in the area! Advancing band and orchestra students will learn repertoire for FULL orchestra with a performance at the end of the week. That's right -- brass, woodwind, percussion, and string players will perform together! Camp sessions will focus on sight reading, technique, ear training, ensemble development.
1 Hour Before and After Care is available from 9AM - 3PM.
