2023 Graduating Seniors

We're so proud of our graduating students this year!

Emma Willis will be attending Penn State and majoring in Geosciences this fall. She has been a student of Annie Matis' for over 10 years. She relates, "Learning under Mrs. Matis has not only made me a better musician, but a better person as her warmth and kindness is nothing shy of an inspiration. I cannot describe my gratitude as well as my excitement for new students to experience the same joys that I did!"

Alexandra Litzo has been taking guitar lessons with Potomac Music since Fall of 2020. She will be graduating from West Springfield High School, Springfield, VA, on June 6, 2023. She will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Madison starting Fall 2023 where she plans on double majoring in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Psychology.

Richa Gupta is a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School. She is going to the University of Maryland, where she will be majoring in Computer Science. She has been taking violin lessons with Annie for the last 9 years. Richa has grown as a violinist and found so many valuable opportunities, such as joining the TCSYO Youth Orchestra and progressing to the Symphonic Level. Go Terps!

Jadyn is a graduating senior at South County HS and has been working at Potomac Music for almost a year now! She’ll be with us throughout the summer and will be going to Ball State University this fall to major in Actuarial Science.

Grace Dreisbach is a graduating senior at South County HS and has been taking viola lessons at Potomac Music since November of 2021. She joined the administrative team last year and will be staying with us throughout the summer before attending William and Mary in the fall to study biology!

Kai has been with Annie for cello lessons since 2016. Kai has played cello since the 4th grade. She is graduating from West Springfield High School. Kai will attend Longwood University in the fall where she plans to study PK-12 Health and Physical Education. She will also be running on their cross country and track team!
